Edmonds Center for the
Arts
 Internationally known pianist Anastasia
Solomatina will appear with the Cascade Symphony in a performance of
Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. The program will also feature
Valse Triste by Sibelius, Gershwin's Selections from Porgy and Bess,
and La Boutique Fantasque by Rossini-Respighi.

Olympic Ballet Theatre joins the Cascade Symphony for a
performance of Prokofiev's classic ballet, Peter and the Wolf,
with narration read by Dave Dolacky. In addition, 11-year-old
violinist Ria Honda, the winner of the Cascade Symphony Rising Star
contest, will perform
the first movement of Mozart’s Violin Concerto
No.3 in G major, K.216.
