Cascade Symphony seeks an exceptionally accomplished young musician to perform as soloist with Cascade Symphony at the
CHILDREN’S CONCERT – 3:00 PM – FEBRUARY 3, 2024
ELIGIBILITY:
Piano or Violin – Applicant must be 12 years old or younger on the day of the concert, February 3, 2024.
All Other Instruments – Applicant must be 15 years old or younger on the day of the concert, February 3, 2024.

The winner of the competition will perform the audition piece from memory with Cascade Symphony at the Children’s concert on February 3, 2024.
RECORDING REQUIREMENTS: Use high quality microphones. A recording of poor quality may diminish your chances of winning the competition. Begin the recording by stating your name, instrument and piece performed. Leave short pauses in place of extended rests.

DEADLINE: All materials must be mailed and uploaded by midnight, November 1, 2023.
NOTIFICATION: Finalists may be asked to audition in person. The winner and non-winners will be notified by letter by December 15, 2023.
AVAILABILITY: Winner must be available to rehearse with Cascade Symphony
on Sunday, January 29, 2023 and to perform on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
