The Edmonds Center for the Arts

Cascade Symphony performs in downtown Edmonds in the auditorium of the Edmonds Center for the Arts, located at 410 - 4th Ave N. This historic theatre and adjacent buildings have housed junior high and high school populations as well as the Puget Sound Christian College. In the fall of 2002, the building was rescued from possible demolition to be renovated as the new Edmonds Center for the Arts. Renovation is almost complete, with increased lobby space and new plumbing, a modernized sound and lighting system, improved acoustics and wing space, and new seats. Future improvements will include on-site parking, meeting rooms and a rooftop restaurant. It will continue to be home to the Cascade Symphony and other Edmonds-based arts groups. Cascade Symphony has the great honor of presenting the first concert in this beautiful new hall on October 23, 2006. The official opening ceremonies will occur on January 13, 2007.
